Was someone in your life a faithful anchor for your childhood? Have you been spared the "crash and burn" life disasters that you hear from in other people's faith stories? Have you ever thought, "I don't have a testimony" because your life isn't filled with drama? Perhaps you are like Timothy, whose mother and grandmother knew the Lord and taught Timothy the scriptures from his childhood.
As we move through Lent, I hope Timothy will speak! May the Lord grant us many Timothys, men and women who will speak and give thanks for God's consistent love. Please don't leave all the speaking to the Pauls and Prodigals! Your song might be "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" and your testimony Psalm 138. Praise God in the congregation for what He has done!
