It's Harvest Time!

Psalm 126 comes from a time when God’s people were rescued from an hopelessness.  The nation had been completely destroyed,  The people had been driven hundreds of miles away to live as exiles in a foreign country.

They were far away for many years.  While they were there, they learned to trust God.  After all, there was no other hope.

Then 70 years later, through completely unexpected series of events, they were brought back to their homeland!  It was truly a miracle of God.

This is their testimony.  There is no such thing as a hopeless situation or a hopeless person.  When you surrender to God, God brings victory every time.

Psalm 126
¹ When the LORD brought his exiles back to Jerusalem,
  it was like a dream!
² We were filled with laughter, and we sang for joy.
  The other nations said,
  “What amazing things the LORD has done for them.”
³ Yes, the LORD has done amazing things for us!
  What joy!
⁴ Restore our fortunes, LORD,
  as streams renew the desert.
⁵ Those who sow seeds with tears
  will harvest with shouts of joy.
⁶ They weep when they sow their seed.
  But at harvest time, they sing!
