Today I was given a book that describes what has been going on in and around Cokato for the past who knows how many years. The book speaks of groups of people, each about the size of an extended family, doing the mission of God together outside the regular confines of what we usually think of as "church." These groups focus on (1) deep and connected relationships with God through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, (2) constant investment in relationships and (3) active involvement in outreach to the broken of the world, outreach that actively looks for responses of faith. Let's pray that such Missional Communities will grow and multiply in the months and years to come.
