Adults - and Kids - at Camp

Toni and I are at "family camp" with friends this week. Craig Nissen finished his first presentation - he's trying to help us talk and think about what "Godly Living" is in the real world - what it means to both accept the unlimited grace and mercy of God - that God accepts us just as we are - and, at the same time, allow God's Word to push us toward living in a way that brings blessing to the world.

I've put a couple of Craig's book recommendations on my Books Recommended to Me blog. Of course, reading is different than being at family camp. If you'd like to come in a future year, let me know. We've been coming here for 15 years. Incredible. The program for adults is inspiring, there's time for relaxation and friendship, and the kids have college age counselors to relate with for at least part of each day.

I might add more to this today. Now it's time for lunch!

  2. I've heard it said that God accepts us as we are, but He loves us too much to leave us there. Praise God!
